HOW  TO  BANK  ON  LAND

Imagine having your very own title deed to your very own development land in USA or Canada.

It’s easy, inexpensive and has great profit potential.  No matter what your nationality or where you live you can have your own piece of North America.

Are you tired of being at the mercy of shifts in stock market values over which you have no control? Have you watched whilst hard earned gains
disappear and your wealth is eroded away?

Have you ever wondered where you can find an investment that is virtually immune from such worrisome uncertainty?

Investing in well selected development land is an answer.

“Must be expensive” you say. Not really. A plot (0.5714 acres ) in Canada or USA will typically cost around $10,000 in either currency.

“Sounds risky” you say. Not much risk when you possess a title deed for your land issued by the relevant Canadian or American planning authority.

The red line in the diagram below shows the typical pattern of Range in the value of land scheduled for development.

                                                           A                     B                         C

It is obvious that for much of the time land is not a particularly good investment. However, there are periods when the value rises dramatically and creates an attractive and low-risk investment area. Those periods are when development from bare land to commercial, residential or industrial use is imminent or under way.

In the diagram above, buying land at stage B and selling at stage C would obviously be a paying proposition. The time between B and C is usually in the range 3 to 7 years and most often is 4 to 6 years. Growth typically averages around 12% p.a.

Yes, It's obvious but how is the typical expatriate, perhaps thousands of miles away, to know when an area of land is at stage B and later at stage C?
