Savings contracts for longer than that are inflexible - easy to get in but expensive to get out.
There is no justifiable case for any expatriate to commit to making long-term contributions. Even where inducements such as 'bonus units' or discounts are offered the restrictions and penalties inherent in the longer term become so much 'smoke and mirrors'.
Even if your aim is retirement which is many years away do not sign up for any 'Offshore Retirement' plan for more than 5 years.
Do a 5 years plan and after that, if all is well, secure and invest safely the proceeds of that plan then do another. Rinse and repeat as often as suits.
That way, you will have more oney in the end and will not be exposed to charges you did not know about if your circumstances change.
